Malik graduated from high school in 2019 and began working at Detroit Diesel in 2020. He was a young man with dreams for his future and a strong desire to build a meaningful life.

Malik was full of personality, energy, and joy. He was a member of the bowling team, loved to skate and work on cars, and had a passion for automobiles. He was also known for his playful personality, love of laughter, and ability to pull pranks and make people smile. Malik was a black belt in martial arts, demonstrating his dedication, discipline, strength, and determination.

In 2020, Malik became a father to his beautiful daughter, a role that brought him great joy and gave him even more reason to work toward a better future. In 2022, he welcomed his son, adding another precious blessing to his life. His children were an important part of his journey and remain a lasting part of his legacy.

Malik had also enrolled in the Criminal Justice program at Ferris State University, with plans to begin in January 2023. He was working to create a future for himself and his family and had so much more he wanted to accomplish.

Tragically, Malik lost his life in a motorcycle accident before he could begin that next chapter. Malik’s Legacy Closet was created to honor his life, his dreams, his love for his children, and the impact he had on those around him.

Through love, education, service, and giving back, we are committed to keeping Malik’s legacy alive and making a difference in the lives of young men and students in need.

Malik’s life was more than how it ended. It was about how he lived, the people he loved, the laughter he shared, the things he loved, the dreams he carried, and the legacy he left behind. ❤️
